I am looking for a new ladder so that I can do the unthinkable thing of painting my house. Though I have a 6' step ladder, I need something longer. Have been looking at the Werner brand MT series. The one similar to the Little Giant, but a fraction of the price tag. Any inputs or suggestion to this ladder or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Before you spend any money on a ladder you should visit a professional ladder shop just to see what all is available. With all the boot's, outriggers and jacks available you might choose to go with conventional extension ladders and these accessories instead of one of the "Multi-ladders". Werner makes quality products, I have been happy with the ones I have used and own. As always, the better informed you are before you buy the more likely you are to be pleased with your purchase.

Surely someone out there can enlighten me with an opinion or two. I have been looking at these things for 3 months now and just wanted someone elses feedback besides my own.

Hi RH

I have two of the Little Giant ladders and they work great, I also looked at the Werner ladders when I got mind and the giant looked just a bit better...Hvy.Alum stock, and the hinges are just a bit bigger, where as the Werner was just a bit lighter Alum. frame stock...,,
