Thanks!! It's actually tomorrow but we just finished ours today. Kids are working so today was better. Now I just have to fight for the couch after all that turkey....

Thanks Glenmore. I cooked a turkey, along with mashed potatoes (grown in my garden), steamed carrots (also from my garden), peas, gravy and stuffing. For desert I made an apple pizza. Delicious and nice to have the children here, I'm thankful that they are healthy.

I thought all Canuck's were happy turkeys? (ducking) One of the things I was truly thankful for while growing up was the fact that my mom liked to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving as well as the American Thanksgiving for my dad. (Loved those turkey dinners) This year the only thing I had to be thankful for on the Canuck Thanksgiving was a nice visit from BrianS. Is this a mixed blessing? He didn't even bring me any turkey! He was kind enough to give me a hand with my camper. (Thanks Brian)
These days I am the official turkey chef and I do a mean bird. If I had the room I would love to cook for all of you. Things being the way they are, I will leave it to a simple wish you enjoyed the day.
