| Registered User Forum Fanatic | Has anyone ever attended one of those woodworking shows? there is one coming up on January 14-16 in Columbus, Ohio. I was thinking about going and would like any insight from anyone that has gone on what i should expect. is it more for the hard core wood workers, or is it good for anyone no matter what the experience is? shawn |

| Registered User Dedicated Member | I went to the one in my town. Lots of neat ideas and some great deals. Very much worth going. Best advice I have is don't buy anything on the first go around. Another dealer probably has it cheaper a few boths away!. |

| Registered User Forum Geek | I have been to the woodworking show that is held in Kansas City the last 3 years. What a blast. More to see and learn in one day than you can imagine. The one that I go to has demonstrations all the time during the show. You get to see a lot of items in use, ask tons of questions, and so on. Like mentioned before, take a stroll around to see what is happening and what items are selling for, then settle in from there.

| Registered User Forum Geek | Hi, Shawn: I usually attend the wood working shows that are in the Jan/Feb months in NJ. The shows are geared for wood workers at about any experience level. The vendors with booths and those giving instructional shows want to intorduce there products. If I am going to buy something at the show I try to get there on the last day since that is when you can get the best deals, it's better to give extra discounts than ship the products back to where ever they come from. hope this helps..
