Default Log In question

After my initial Log In, when I joined the forum, the program has always recognized me and I have been automaticaly logged in. As of yesterday I had to request a new password just to be able to log in. Now I am still not recognized and have to manually Log In every time I visit the site. Has this happened to everybody or is it a problem on my end, or what?
Just wondering...

I don't know why George, but when I enter the forum, I'm automatically logged in and when leaving I just exit (instead of logging out).

No problems here, but I think there are issues with different users.

You might have to clear your cookies, (not toss them) and try again.

Thanks for the comeback guys.
Mike, I was about ready to toss them over this but instead tried clearing the cookies and it seems to have done the trick.
Thanks again.

Mark is an unknown quantity at this point

I believe the system is setup so passwords expire every 180 days, so you'll be forced to change your password.

HI Mark

WHY ?????

Passwords are a real pain in the A#@

I'm not sure why web masters like them ,they have all the logs they need to check on things... plus all the cookie crap... the Index.dat tells all with one read..

But that's just my 2 cents

I don't think it is. I've never had to change mine.
