| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Prior to starting my freehand sign, I looked around the forum knowing that at least two such projects had been posted, but I couldn't remember who posted them. Last evening I was sorting a pile of papers on my desk, and what do you know, there was a full print-out of the signs made by our friend Mike (AxlMyk), and what a beautiful job he made. A couple of questions Mike, how did you support the router when removing the background, I used the skis but wonder how you did it. How has staining the letters stood up to three months outdoors?

| Registered User Forum King | Wow Harry. I just noticed this post. Cookies seem to get set here without actually reading a post. I made a large base plate for the router. Had a piece of plexiglass laying around. The upper sign fell loose several months ago, and one of the neighbors picked it up. Took it home and painted it. (Dummy) Called me 2 months later to say they will paint the number sign also. I was a bit ticked off to say the least. I have since remounted the signs and they won't be coming loose again.
