Benny, even though I didn't understand a single word, it was obvious that the gentleman is a true craftsman, producing work that most of us can only dream about.

The best advice that I can give a newcomer to routing is, learn to use the router mounted, this can be as simple as a board held in a vice, with the router firmly attached and a simple fence held with clamps, and when he/she feels competant and confident in it's use and is familiar with all aspects of safety, THEN, and only then proceed to learn how to use the router hand held. This is MY opinion, and may or may not coincide with that of the forum management, but is based on a lifetime of woodworking.

I agree Harry. You don't have to understand the language of a true craftsman. His work speaks for itself!

Benny San,

The gentleman doing the work is a master. Not only is his work extremely accurate but it also has spirit.

Thank you for sharing that video.

Ed......:-)

I am glad that you liked it.

a single word
I can understand only a few words in Video which Corey san taught me before.
But motion pictures (also Images) help us understand what it is.

portable clamping system
I could not understand a meaning until the time when petersenj20 posted.

hand tools
My Oshosan( a person who teaches someone how to do something ) says everytime we met, "Learn how to use handtool". "How long does it take for me to be able to use it ?" "EVERYDAY for five years. But you can just only arrive at the starting point." "Yes......".
It is fun, but impossible for me.

He said to me that he taught that kind of "hidden dovetail joint(?)" to a young professional. But he gave up learning.
It might be a world of self-satisfaction to spend a time for making an invisible part, but it is a good joint for making box.

Not much you say to that video is there!
I'd like to simply have the skill he's lost and forgotten, let that which he's retained.
