Not wanted on the forum?

Hi everyone, for the last few days I've had difficulty accessing the forum, Mark doesn't want to blame the forums computer so I am to understand that I'm no longer welcome here and it's time for me to move on? During the times that I can't get access, I can instantly reach any other site anywhere in the world. I'm having to type this fast in case I'm knocked off any moment now as I was earlier just after sending a PM to Mark. I'll say goodbye to you all now, just in case I can't get back on again.

Now don't tell me some other crew allowed you into another forum I'd hate to see you go but my camera will get a rest. So Mark will get you straightened out so you don't have to go.

What I am sorry Harry but I just read your contract and the small print says you have to give 5 years notice, so "you must stay".

I have had a few "url not available" over the last couple of weeks but chucked it up to work in progress. If I wait a few minutes I will be able to access. I do know this was not on my end.

Maybe a small hick-up in the new system, or are we "too opinionate" Harry.

I think there are still a few bugs to work out with the new software. I still can't get email notifications when I have a PM or direct when sent thru the forum.

Hang around as Mark is good at what he does and will eventually get it figured out.

Thanks guys, the last two attempts have got me straight through but prior to that I could try for ten minutes, using Firefox and IE, typing in the address and clicking on it from my favourites lists. I even did speed tests to Canada and the USA and the speeds were faster than to my local test site only 50 miles away so my logic tells me it has to be the forum, even an email to Mark at Marko@gmail.com failed to get through because it goes via the forum. Because Mark hasn't even admitted that there could possibly be a problem with the site it made me wonder if he was hinting for me to take my leave! Thanks for you support, I'll see how it behaves in the next couple of days. As Glenmore mentioned "other sites" I did have a peep at one and the members were almost coming to blows as to band saw or table saw best to re-saw a board. I'm tempted to go back to see if any blood was spilled.

Harry, a number of things could have happened. If a carrier does maintenance, their router might have to "learn" new routes or perhaps the OSPF (open shortest path first) nearer to you was down. I highly doubt that Mark or any administrator would kick our favourite transplant from near Perth off of the forums. I work nights and honestly appreciate your dedication, persistence and humour when I check in from the job. -Derek

I had the same error for last two days

Today was the 1st.time I got on so it's no big deal..

Harry here's a tip off the server has a error,,if you stop getting email from the forum, the server is in error
