| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | There's a big difference between an acquaintance and a friend, this was demonstrated a couple of days ago when John, the turning pro. that chippypah urged me to introduce myself to at the recent Perth Woodshow, the gentleman that started off the bowl that I recently did a photo-shoot on, called around a couple of days ago and presented me with two tool rests that he had made for me, one smaller than the original and perfect for pens and the other larger than original more suited for my new hollowing tool. Whilst he was here I remembered that recently a fellow member had told me that he couldn't fold larger size bandsaw blades so I asked John to demonstrate whilst I took a few shots. After shot #3, let go of the blade and it will do a wriggle on the floor and end up nicely coiled. As you see, no gloves are required, however, they are when uncoiling because, like a snake that has been hibernating, when you disturb it expect some bites!

| Registered User Supreme Forum King | I found that a belt from my lawn tractor was a great way to learn, and practice folding blades.
