  About Me

  • My Shop
Some detailed information about my workshop.
    Power Tools
Many of my power tools have been aquired via yard sales, estate sales and Craigslist. Being able to start 'small' and trade up when needs and funds allow has resulted in an ecclectic collection of tools. Early on 'Grizzly Green' and 'Ryobi Blue' were common colors, but there is a lot of Orange and hitachi green now. In 10 years, who knows? but that's half of the fun.

Craftsman 152221240 hybrid table saw (N)
Craftsman 12" drill press (yard sale find)
Craftsman 6" bench grinder (1960's vintage, estate sale)
Grizzly 555 band saw (Incredible value)(N)
Grizzly 1.5 hp dust collector (I eventually need to upgrade this)(N)
    Ridgid R4330 Thickness planer (a great tool)(N)
    Ridgid JP0610 6 inch jointer (best $200 I ever spent)(CL)
    Ridgid EB4424 belt/spindle sander(N)
2x Delta 40-650 'Q3' 18" scroll saw (both aquired used, great deals)
1935 Powerkraft scrollsaw (a $10 yard sale find)
Jet AFS-1000B air cleaner (a NIB craigslist find)
    Hitachi 10" SCMS(N)
    Hitachi 14v drill/driver (I wish I had bought 2 at the time... I love this drill)(N)
    Hitachi 10v LiOn impact driver,mini sawzall, and 3/8 drill(N)
Ryobi belt sander and 1/4 sheet sanders(N)
    Ryobi circular saw (N)
    PC Circular Saw (ES)
    PC Quick Change Sawzall (ES)
Legacy 1200 ornamental mill (craigslist find)
Triton PRA001 Powered Respirator (My WISEST purchase ever, ebay)
CH 30 gal air compressor (CL) and too many air tools (N)
    Tormek Supergrind 2000 sharpening station
    Teeny Tiny HF VS lathe
2 Massive shop vacs for tool dust collection and general clean-up
    My Shop
