Hopefully someday , but I have no idea where it's all going to fit :(
    My Shop
26' by 22' foot garage with 10' ceiling but far to small for what I would like . I need to insulate and heat my garage as it would be nice to build projects during our 6 months of winter
  • Woodworker Information
    A few details about myself.
    Biography
For my occupation I work as a maintenance tech in the communications industry.
In my spare time I renovate my old house as it's a work in progress . Gave up my favourite past time , off road dirt biking . I love riding fast on trials , but dislike the discomfort when you crash , as I'm not healing as quickly as I did when I was young . Knees are gone so I had to put the kibosh on skiing to .

So now my life is filled with boring stuff like hiking , photography , photoshop and computers . As soon as I get a few more renovatioms completed , it will finally be time to insulate my garage . I'd love nothing more than a warm shop to build projects in during those long Canadian winters .

I also love music and home theatre , and it's probably one of the few large purchaced where I have had no buyers remorse . I bought an electronic piano ,a Roland 700 , was going to learning how to play when I have more time in the winter months .

I found a new hobby , 1:1 scale statues and am in the process of building a battle damaged stage 5 Terminator . Its kinda weird having someone standing in your living room , but you get used to it . Visitors not so much .

I also enjoy weight lifting as I have always thought of it as being beneficial . Getting to old for setting records , but I still feel better after resistance training with lighter weights . Of course I throw in some cardio too.

Wanted to get into skydiving but gained to much weight . Was my dream at one time to skydive in a Wing Suit , but I think that dreams gone . Don't have the body type lol
    Location
    Cranbrook BC
    Interests
Computers , electronics , robotics , home theatre , photography , photoshop , weight lifting, 2nd gen TransAms and full scale statues (Terminator related) .
Oh , and wood working in moderation.
FYI , sold TransAm to make room for wood working equipment :(
    Favorite Router
Festool 1400 for router , and anything Incra related for tables , plates and fences
    Woodworking Experience (Years)
Quite a few years , but mostly building speaker enclosures, so I have a lot to learn
    First Name
    Rick
    Country
    Canada
  • Signature
My grade four teacher told me he thought I was an idiot savant , minus the savant part
