Question Thread recommendations
Report Post Report This Post!

Hey guys,

I was thinking of adding some more content to the RouterForums.com newsletter by including some really interesting threads into the email so users can check them out and read through them.

What I was thinking is, sticking this thread and whenever one of you guys finds a thread you think is interesting or has some great information in, simply post a link to it here and I'll include those suggested threads in the next newsletter!

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Hi mark,
i appreciate threads like "where do you get exoctic wood", or even just where do you get ,"etc.,etc." (most anything.) i'm always looking to save a buck, or finding quality "stuff".

Thanks for the question!

Mark,

I think this sounds like a great idea to generate interest to new members and perhaps some old members as well

Here is a recent thread I like

Yes, Mark, I'd like to see:
1. "educational" threads on Safety, including: general advice, router safety, table saw safety, shop wiring for safety, shop air safety/dust collection, lighting. etc.
2. "In my experience" thread, the good, the bad, the ugly.
3. A featured thread in "members gallery" where something unique, unusual, rare, outstanding, clever, cheap...you get the idea. Maybe members vote by no. of views?
4. Finally, technical tips, questions answered previously. the "How do I thread"
5. "Best online videos" thread with urls (free of course)
And I agree totally with the "where do I find..." thread posted by Tom above!
All threads should have really good photos or diagrams. like posted by Gerard sr.
that's all for now, Bill

Hey Mark, Did I grab Bob's ideas, since you only complimented him?
I didn't check the posts he mentioned, so I might have doubled up on his.Sorry.Bob.
I just wrote mine out. No problem tho, a good idea is a good idea. Seemed like writing them out would be a tad easier to discuss. Bill
