I'm no computer whiz but I would think that you could put a click box in all threads. When someone reads it and finds it usefull they could click the box. It would then pop up in an administrators site where counts could be tallied. If the hint/tip was found useful by a pre-determined number of registered users then it would be addopted for placement in a 'library' of sorts.

Hope I made sense

Default Template Guide Bushing Charts?

Not sure if this is where a reply or related question goes or not? And since previous replies and questions in other threads went unanswered (possibly due to the Thread age?), I would be surprised if this gleaned a response.

Where would one find the 'Template Guide Bushing Charts'? Guide bushings give me a fit everytime I use them and it sounds as if a Guide Bushing Chart may be of of value when using same. Thanks

Lou, We had this same subject come up about a year or so ago. I thought Mark was going to make the thread that has the charts in it as a sticky under General Routing or some other topic. We had also kicked around the idea of creating another category to contain all of the recurring items in members keep asking for, the guide & bit charts were specifically sighted as an example. I don't know if that ever happened. I have been absent from the forum for some time due to illness, so I think your question should be addressed to Mark or one of the other Moderators.
If you can't find the charts here, I will be glad to make you a copy of mine and email them to you. Send me a PM with your email address.
Chuck

There are always lots of projects going on in the background. Part of the problem is doing the research into which material would be most important to post, then having the time to dedicate for organizing it. I have a couple ideas that need to be implemented. At present the other moderators are not available due to illness or personal matters. I am doing the best I can to be sure questions get answers and other housekeeping duties are attended to.

Thanks Bob
For posting my Introduction to the use of template Guides. Can I just say that is what it says "An introduction to the use of template Guides'
Most router users do not use the guides, 90% is my estimate and they are missing out on a great number of projects with the router. I also advocate that it is a safer method of using the router, so safe I have blind people using the router to produce elliptical and heart shaped trinket boxes wine racks Mantle clocks etc etc etc The list just goes on and on
Have a look at my Blogs

Mark,
Isn't this suggestion handled with our present "sticky" option?

Thanks to Bobj2 for the Table and example attachments. I had also sent pop_pop1 an email to his routerforums.com mail box.
Thanks also to Template Tom as his links help fully understand the table by adding descriptors to the letters in the table.
(Then again if one would look at the images first, it would also become clear.)
The table is a slighty different way of probably describing the same thing I thought should 'be out there'.
(I was looking for a 'difference or relation chart' between bits and guides.)
I will make it work!! Thanks!, Merry Christmas, Lou

You're Welcome Lou

I found them on the forum and I also have them on my PC and I printed them out for the shop to hang right next to the router table.

Merry Christmas
Bj
