Well, as you guys know, we have been holding a RouterForums.com contest almost (missed a few) every month for the past while. Pretty much every contest consisted of a user submitting a picture of a project and then getting judged then voted.

I would like to get some feedback and possibly new ideas for contest types for the next contest. If anyone has a new idea of a type of contest, please post it and share your ideas. Thanks!

Also, please bare in mind that we would like for the contest to be fairly simple so that everyone of every age can participate.

Instead of the finished product being the judging scale, I suggest that a good technique explained become paramount in the outcome.
Something that is a solution to an irregular shop problem.

Interesting idea, although I don't feel enough could participate. I mean, I haven't taken an "exotic" trip myself in my entire life.

I like your idea and possibly add to it a photo tutorial of no less that 4-6 pictures taken during the building process.
