Default What do you want

I second all the previous correspondents and would like to add a couple of things: if videos of any particular project is too much to ask for, perhaps a depiction on YouTube would be possible.
I too find that TV coverage is often too fast for me to digest all that is/has happened and consequently do not start anything.
As perhaps the newest member of the Forums I wouls really appreciate a 'For Sale' section. This would allow persons such as I to see what others have used and perhaps are now discarding. Though this is primarily a 'Router' forum maybe it could be inclusive of most woodworking tools.

Hi Matelot

Here are just 3 of the new items that Oak-Park is sending out in the E-Mails once you become a member (like you have) of the RWS forum you will also get the emails and you can do like I do ,save them to a folder in your email program i.e. Tips from Oak-Park or in a new folder on your Desktop.

They are a bit short BUT they are great I also think they should post them on MyTube/YouTube/MySpace or in one of the new blogs.

Links below

NOTE**** all the snapshorts are small so if you want to take a closer look at the snapshot right click on it and select Copy Image or Save Image As and save it to your PC then blow it up, to see all .

Hope this helps

After thinking about this, I would like to see Bob and Rick show the steps needed to assemble 1 of their router tables. Perhaps detailed pictures like what Corey did with the Box Joint Jigs. That was very well done. Perhaps Mark can find a way to stream some content. -Derek

Derek, you can see part of it on the Oak Park site. The Router Workshop table snaps together with some special 10 MM furniture connectors. It can be taken apart quickly for transport and be back together in a flash.

Default What do I want

I would love to see lots of photographs taken during the making of projects, so that all members can see how others perform the various procedures, plus all of the aforementioned. Harry

Just one more great Show & Tell from the Boys at Oak-Park

I sure wish they would put them on the blog, it would help many of the members and guest , that want to see what all the fuss is all about, when we say Watch the RWS on the NET or on the PBS.

I agree with all of the above, I would also like to see a show from Bob and Rick on building some of their jigs. A whole show devoted to making router jigs.

I received an email this week with a link to That tip in it...

If you didn't get it, check to be sure you're subscribed to receive Tips and Newsletters, etc.

I agree with all...

More from Rick... and more detail... Jigs jigs & jigs...

There are some unique projects that I'd like more detail on...
I like the small writing lap desk, for one.

I'd like to hear more from Bob too... Hope he's doing OK...

Just my 6 bits...

Bob is enjoying his warm winter vacation. All of the suggestions are noted and where possible will be acted upon. Thank you to one and all who responded.

I think all the ideas are great and I would vote for all of them. I do have two more ideas. Perhaps the most important is Router and Workshop Safety. (If I were forum dictator, something to which I have no aspirations nor do I think we should have such a thing, that would be the opening page)
My second idea is a forum on routering material such as lexan (polycarbonate) and acrylics.

Do things like Dremel rotary tools have a place here?
