I live in British Columbia and am on Star Choice Satelite. Why can I not find your program anywhere? I used to get it on PBS from Seattle but they have nothing scheduled for the rest of the month. That's not very good. I enjoy your program very much.

Pete, the program has been out of production for a couple years. It's tough to find a sponsor willing to shell out the money for the show. The good news is that PBS has access to the 14 seasons of the show and you can write your local program drector and request that they show it. You can watch the show on your computer by clicking here: www.thewoodworkingchannel.com Season 4 and 5 DVD's are available now, and season 6 will be released soon. You can purchase them from Oak Park. There is a link at the top of our home page.

Pete, I try to catch the show as often as I can. The Seattle station (KCTS) might have an episode a month. The Tacoma station (KBTC) is a little better. Most of the shows have been repeated several times. Do like Mike said and catch Bob and Rick on the Web. You're here. This site is the best. -Derek

Is it me or has The Woodworking Channel been showing the same programs for the last several months. It would be nice if they could change out from time to time. My local PBS channel has stopped showing the program. I emailed the program manager, and they told me they don't have time in their schedule. It would be nice if they could be shown somewhere on this forum.

Hi Rolf

That's a good one

Lets all tell Bob,Rick,Mark to put them on You-Tube they are so old it's not to big of a deal anymore but it would nice to have a spot to go and view them other than the woodworkingchannel on the net... you and I could select the ones we want to view...I'm not sure if You-Tube as a pay as you view or not but I would pay for one or two of them and I'm sure others would also... but then Mark is a computer wiz maybe he can hook up a server for just that on the forum...for members only or pay to view.

I have 3 roms that hold 3 cd disks in one rom drive that would be 9 cd's at 680mb per. that would hold about 4 of the RWS shows on one cd maybe Mark can setup something like that we can tap into over the Net..
95 shows so it maybe best to just use a big HD with a index listing...Mark is the wiz and I sure he could come up with something

I know Rick likes You-Tube maybe we can get him to do it....they are all about 20 mins.or so ,,,

Rick has been working on ways to bring the show to members. There are many technical issues involved. The best short term solution was to release as many of the shows as possible on DVD. I feel it is a real value to get the show on DVD since you can reference it any time and quickly jump to a particular project. In case anybody missed the email I believe there is free shipping till the end of the month on the season 5 DVD.

Not to rain on your parade, but the shows will not be on Utube or any other free service.
