Some possibly aren't the voting type? We can only do our best by giving them the links in the email newsletter. If they have no opinion on the poll at hand, I'm sure they won't vote. My guess is, majority of them didn't have time to review the projects and they chose not to vote because of that. Same with the Forum Contributer poll, if they don't know the users who are involved (they just joined), they aren't going to throw their vote away. Give it time, it'll take time.

Here is an idea to make it easier to see what you're voting on...

When the Poll is prepared, have the Person's Name Linked to the Project.

Then, from the Voting Poll screen, one could easily click on the respective names to see what they're voting on.

I would think this would be possible... Is it?

Yes it's possible, the person who sets up the poll will have to do that.
