Mike, I think a copy of you're post could do no harm if emailed to all the major manufacturers.

I would go for a simple T-Shirt something like what Bob is wearing. A nice color with the logo on the left breast pocket. Just my opinion.

Default Tee shirt

Heck I can get 5 colored T-shirts with pockets at Walgreens for $10.00 and iron on my own words.

Gary, That is one possible solution to the problem. We might come up with an official iron on and let people print them out and apply them to their own shirts. They do not stand up as well as screen printed shirts but they do cost considerably less. I have several shirts I made back in the 80's that are still in good condition.

You took the words right out of my mouth...

People could get the size, color, pocket/no pocket, etc. any way they like it... then customize it with an Iron On "The RouterWorkshop Forums" in bold living color... and probably costing no more than $1.00!!

Why can't we just ask Bob & Rick for some FREE BE's and we will wear them and promote the RWS site and Oak-Park for them ,they must write them off, I'm sure...

I will take 20 or so and hand them out to the woodworkers I know if not I can aways use some for oil rags..

These comments raise an interesting point which has never been brought up before. While Oak Park sponsors routerforums.com as a public service you may have noticed that there is no advertising of their products here. I asked Rick about this long ago and he responded: "The purpose of routerforums.com is to promote routing and other forms of woodworking, not to be an advertisment for any company or it's products." All brands of woodworking equipment get a fair shake. All methods are welcome to be discussed. This being the case, the T shirts will not say: "The Router Workshop" and we sure can not expect Bob and Rick to foot the bill for them. Oak Park has their own shirts and caps available on their web site. The T shirts are strictly an ad for routerforums.com. I'm sure this makes sense to everyone. Non-denominational, no affiliation, just the love of routing and woodworking, pure and simple.
