Default Formula Help (radius)

To figure the compound curve when designing cathedral doors

([(10/4)^2/(4-2.25)/2]+(4-2.25)/2)/2

10 dist between stiles
4-2.25 is max rail width - min rail width

the answer is 1.3
I believe I am calculating this wrong. Can you help?

Thanks in advance

Hi Thomb

I'm not to sure why you are playing with the numbers,,, it takes two templates to make a cathedral door... and all the math is done for you with the premade templates..

They come in many sizes, to make a 4" wide door to a 24" wide door...

Many woodworkers supply companys sell them here's just two of them..
