Default Viewing jpg's

Not sure where to post this query as it is not directly related to routing more to the forum/v- bulliten itself.

Just over the past couple of weeks I have noticed a change in the way the images display on the screen.

Previously, when I clicked on an image, it would display in the middle of the screen.
Now when I click, the image seems to appear any where on the thread. Sometimes I have to use the elevator bar to go right back to the top of the thread to view the image and sometimes it does not display as the top image, it appears behind the tread and I only see the image if I minimise the firefox browser.

Any clues.

James

I have noticed this also, and to be honest, it isn't nearly as convenient as it used to be.

Hi Guys

If you just left click on it ONE time it should come up in the center but if you double click the thumb nail it will jump behind the thread... it's part of the new software Mark is now using, I also don't care for it but ,,,well....

I hear what you're saying BJ, but I am an experienced (read PC tech) user of PCs and it does the same to me. Normally it just goes up high where I probably clicked open some pics earlier. I think that's why it goes up high on the thread. Anyway, it's an annoyance but not a show stopper.

HI Ed

I know what you mean,,, if you click on it and you don't see it right away and you click on it again it's on the screen but has moved up or down and the 2nd time you clicked you now have two open and one can be behind the other,,,strange way to run a railroad....

...

I reported these problems to Mark as soon as the new software was loaded. Mark assured me he tested the forums under IE and FireFox and everything was fine. I guess we are all suffering from delusions.

I was wondering what was wrong - now I know. I thought my mouse was going crazy.

Thanks for the reply bobj3,

I do tend to double click some times.

Will have to keep off the sauce and try and click once......

Mark is an unknown quantity at this point

I understand your problem. It is a public bug in the vBulletin software.

Here is a solution:

Instead of a "single click" when viewing the attached image files. Simply "double click" the image will open in a new window. Problem solved!

Interesting..... I don't recall receiving any messages regarding this error. Probably got lost in the jumble of PMs I get daily.

I think the only one suffering any delusions is you Mike, ha ha
