here are a few Repo mantel clocks I used to mfd. 9 different style's back in the 70's and sell in the antique trader for a couple yrs.Had fun doing that i would make 50 long drop clocks at a time and also the same on the others Just thought i would make a few again to see if i could do it I have better tools now They are walnut cherry oak The finish is M.L. Campbell sattin finish Cabnet grade Sure is nice for these I used a quartz movement for the cost difference The other movement around $65 and quartz $ 3.50 Oh well they didn't have the quartz back in the 70's or if they did i wasn't into those than thanks for looking del

Quite beautiful Del. What technique did you use for making "worm holes" for those sold to the antiques trade?

On a serious note Del, I knew a guy here who used to make trips to England to purchase container loads of brand new "genuine antiques" complete with "worm" holes. By the way, he isn't the sort of guy that I normally associate with.
