Default Glass table (with WIP)

Good day

The title is glass table but, actually, I'm just changing the top according to the last order of my wife (ok, I also love to do it)...

I built the table some 8 years ago while living in Japan.
It's made of Luan, 23" x 23" and stained 5 years later.
.
The top (frame) is Oak 1¼" thick 4" wide and 25" x 25", I'm using the same stain and hope that it will fit somehow to the stained Laun.

Regards
niki

On the white cardboard, my wife arranged here dried flowers that she picked-up on the Gilboah Mountain in Israel and we just put the 1/4" glass on top.

As you know from the bible, Jonathan was killed on the Gilboah and David (at that time still not a king), cursed the mountain "No more rain and no more due on you" (simple translation from Hebrew).

Niki, the construction of that table is going to ensure that it lasts for a thousand years. I had intended to post details of a small simple table that I have just completed but am now undecided, I shall have a few swigs of my evening whiskey and return in a few minutes with a decision. -
Well a half hour has now past and I'm feeling quite relaxed and have decided to post the details of the table because it is the first project that I have made using my version of Niki's router lift to rout all the dowel holes.

Thank you for your kind replies

Harry
I made this table at the begining of my woodworking hobby at the times that I thought that everything should be strong like Boeing 747...I changed my mind since then...it's not flying, it's just sitting in the living room...
