| Registered User Forum Geek | OK so it’s just a box, I’ve done plenty of those. I’m helping my friends “update” their kitchen with some new cabinet doors. While we are at it we are re-doing their one drawer cabinet. Here’s what we are starting with: ![]() So the plan is to redo the face frame and build new drawers to have 4 equal sized drawers. Here are the drawer faces ready to go (minus painting): ![]() And here’s the 1st prototype drawer (along with some pis of how it went together): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here’s a mock up with the face: ![]() The sides are ½” poplar from Lowes and the bottom is ¼” birch ply. The bottom is floating in stopped dados. The half-blind dovetails where made on my router table with an Incra ultra fence. It still needs to be finished with poly once I make sure it fits properly. Then I guess I should build the other 3 ![]() |

| Registered User Forum Geek | Thanks guys. I was a little nervous about taking on this project. But figured since they are good friends they will understand if I have some “learning curve” during the project. I want to get this drawer cabinet out of the way then the rest of the cabinet doors (about 8 of them) should go quick. |
