Stuff? A true woodworker does not consider his most valued possessions as "STUFF"! Valued additions to my collection:
Set (6) Flush trim bits (3 @ 2 flute & 3 @ 3 flute) 1/2" shaft
Jumbo feather board (to lazy to make my own)
2 stop blocks
6 plastic glue spreaders
Quick set-up brass bars 4" long
Pack of "Soft-Sanders"
A lot of new ideas!!

If quitters never win, and winners never quit, than who is the fool who said, 'Quit while you"re ahead'?

You're so right Dave, but the guys do sound convincing and I'm sure Neal will be happy with the corner chisel.

The best advice that I can give a newcomer to routing is, learn to use the router mounted, this can be as simple as a board held in a vice, with the router firmly attached and a simple fence held with clamps, and when he/she feels competant and confident in it's use and is familiar with all aspects of safety, THEN, and only then proceed to learn how to use the router hand held. This is MY opinion, and may or may not coincide with that of the forum management, but is based on a lifetime of woodworking.

So, I know that there is an upcoming woodworking show at the Gibraltar center in Taylor, MI on Feb 26-28. Unfortunately, I will need to attend a family wedding that weekend.

Does anyone know of any other upcoming shows in the Detroit area? Also, didn't there use to be a show in Novi at the Rock Financial (I can't find it listed anywhere)?

Last year there was one at Gibralter TC in Mount Clemens, and one at Rock Financial. Gibralter Taylor is the only one this year.
It doesn't look to be as big as the other 2 were.

Mike,
Thanks for the information. Was hoping there would be another one, as EVERY stinkin' year something is going on the weekend that these are in town for me. Never been to one, and have always wanted to go.

Side note - I was in your area yesterday at Armstrong Millworks. Met with Dennis (owner - nice guy). Great shop they have there with a lot different varieties of wood for sale.
