Greetings David and welcome to the forum. There are many very fine router tops and tables that you can buy. One thing needed to suggest one is what kind of woodworking are you going to do? How much do you want to spend? To name just a couple of the parameters needed two suggest a top.

One thing you might want to conceder is building your own router table and top. You can save a lot of money doing it yourself, plus it would be more easily modified down the line as your needs vary.

If you can let us know more about your needs I am sure someone here will be able to give you better advice. We will look forward to hearing more from you.

After looking at several complete tables, I bought a Rockler top and built a cabinet for it to sit on. Saved a few bucks and now have a table that best suits my needs. Good luck, Mike

David, there are many great sets of plans on this site and other places. Trust me when I say you can build your own table, it is not brain surgery. Most of the pro built tables use Baltic Birch plywood with high pressure laminate on both sides of the top. Many people just use MDF and that works fine for a first table. You will find all the information on how to mount your router in other threads.
