hey everyone just picked up a pc 691 today for 20 bucks, been a while (5 yrs) since i burned out my craftsman, my question is this a good router? and since it has the D handle can i mount it to a table or do i have to buy the plunge base? (i would like to build my own)

Hi Glen

The PC you have is a good one,yes, you can mount the D-HANDLE base to the router table...

if i were to mount it to a table would it be better to have the plunge base, also are there any good plans for building my own router table?
