I am in the process of building a sweet router table very similar in size to the Bob & Rick's. I believe B & R's is 16" X 30". After I got the top done, 16" seem's like a pretty small width for a table. Most of the things that I do will work fine.

Does anyone find that this size of a table is too small? I went this route so I could use some of the techniques and jigs I see on the router workshop program.

Hi Deck
I know this is not a fix, but one of the neat things about the Oak-Park Table, you can pop the router out and run your stock the long way (30" side) you just need a longer fence.
Or you can make a pull up (snap up/lift up) top, on the front and the rear sides,just cut out a spot for the hand clamps ( C Clamps) to fit in the popup sides.
A hinge on both ends of the popup top and a locking bar brace and you got it done.

I have the Bob & Rick table, and the size is fine. I built a fence so I could use the 30" length of the table, and it works fine I use clamps on the ends to hold it down just like the the regular fence. Woodnut65

The 30 " length is common to many tables. Mine is 24" deep and I really dont need the extra depth. I just went with a plan that I liked the features of. The bench top tables will do most jobs the larger tables will. It seems to be a matter of personal choice and available space.
