| Registered User Dedicated Member | The vac hose in the Oak Park table is not easy to remove for vacuuming the top or other things. What can be done to make this more convenient? The boys on the router workshop seem to do it very quickly. Bruce in the Peg |

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Hi Bruce Put in a Y or a T made of PVC pipe and a small gate, then you don't need to unplug it just open the gate, you can make a small gate with some 1/4" and 3/4" MDF stock. Open one Close one quick and easy, or you can use a small trap door type they use for built in vac.systems in a house, they make them to side in to PVC pipe and glue in place. ( Home Depot/Lowe's items) --------------- Just one of many types "Vac.Inlet" ▼ http://www.vacsew.com/xcart/product.php?productid=16546 --------------- Small Gates Below ▼ The ones below are blanks, one side set up for 2 1/2" the other side is still open for any size I need, it can be 1" to 4",just a snapshot to show how to make them out of MDF ![]() Bj ![]()

| Registered User Jr. Member | I have a short piece of hose attached to the table. It is attached, within easy reach, to the vacuum hose (2 and a 1/2"?) coupler. Uncouple, slip on the right attachment to the vacuum hose and go to town.
