| Marine Engineer Forum King | Bruce, The way he uses the setup bars (or any other straight edge) to isolate the bearing is pretty straightforward. All you are doing is making the bearing flush with the infeed and outfeed sides of the fence. If you're touching all 3 at the same time, you've isolated the bearing.
