Here is a cool style of pen desk box made with 7/16 s stock...top and bottom if I remember what the maker told me. ![]() Corey

| Retired Moderator Supreme Forum King | Jeff it uses 5m barrel hinges, it's almost an inch thick closed. Both of the styles can be done using those hinges. The Kallenshaan boxes use barbed kerf cut hinges in the photo. Search the Rockler website for both type of hinges. Corey
