| Registered User Forum Fanatic | Still deep in the research process, but I think I'm coming down the home stretch on making a decision to one of the following: a) Build a table and fence from one of several different sets of plans which I have come across. ii) Build table, buy fence. (Profence is one that I was / have been looking at) 3) Buy complete fence / table unit, complete, no brain work, bring home, use. Reason I'm asking is I think, (but don't know) that the ProFence from Bench Dog tools is a decent one? (in the price point in which I'm looking to start at for a basic, solid, nothing "super wazoo" for a table.) I've used routers quite a bit for basic stuff, rounding off edges, decorative work, etc. and am looking to go to the next level of projects and features in having a router as a staple tool in the shop (err..ok, garage...) So that should give you the level of complexity and detail in what I'm looking for. Nothing extravagant, basic, functional, and in the "lots of bang for the buck" category. I like the attachments, and features of the ProFence from Bench Dog, but don't know if there is something else I should be looking at or a stone I haven't uncovered. Any insight from the resident experts would be great! Much thanks!

| Retired Moderator Supreme Forum King | It's a good fence and I have used it. I had the Benchdog Pro Top Contractor which came with the profence. It's a good as any of the other fences and has some nice features. The mdf surface of the fences are easily renewable if you need to and you can add sub fences easily to it as well. I think you would like it. Corey
