Default new router table in the works

Hi,
I am building a new router table. This one will be the largest so far. The top will be 26" deep X 36" wide. The top is in process now and I have purchased the Peachtree supreme router fence, which seems like a great fence. The fence does have a dust port on it.

I am looking for suggestions on what to build for a cabinet or table to support the top. Other tables I have built have been as a wing on one of my previous delta contractor saws. I have built a table similar to the oak park.

Not sure if the below table dust collection is necessary?

Thanks,

deck

Morning deck
here's my suggestion for the base, i went to home depot and got some 3/4" mdf not a full sheet they had some piece's 2ft by 4ft and only paid $8.13ea so i bought 3 here's and idea of what im making pretty simple. http://www.woodpeck.com/woodenstand.html for the shelf rout a dado at the bottom about 4-6" from the floor. the top half i would put some cross pieces to support the top, i bought my top from rockler for $159 and love it very nice top.

delirous26,
That's a pretty good idea. It would be nice to add a few shelves to stack Router containers and bits. Thanks for the idea.

Hi, I know its been awhile since I got your email inquiry, but the forum won't allow me to use the "private message" pipeline yet. I did buy a "Router Workshop" table and like it very much. Sounds like your building the "mother of all router tables." Good luck with it.
