| Registered User Jr. Member | I had a idea to join a few large peices of corain together to make a router table. Anyone see a reson why it would not work? I work with it to make windchime and other things and have acces to some decent size peices. |

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Al, I see no reason why you shouldn't use Corian providing that the joins leave a flat surface. You didn't say how thick your Corian is, if it's thick you'll have to mount the router on a plate and rout a recess for the plate. Corian machines well but is hard on cutters.

| Registered User Jr. Member | The stuff I have is 1/2" thick. My plans where to double up the edges like a counter and add mdf under the rest for strenght. To flatten it I will feed it thru my drum sander. Some of the peices are almost 2' sq. |

| Registered User Forum King | I like the idea of using Corian, it give the table some character. How does it hold up to running a dado will the Corian chip? |
