Tenoning jig

I put this in the reviews section because I'm looking for input.
Wanting to buy a tenoning jig, and have found all these.

I don't see any difference between the Grizzly and the Delta, or even the Steel City brand (not pictured). Does HF have one?
I'm leaning toward the Grizzly since I don't plan on doing heavy production with it, and it seems just like all the rest. Great price also.

Any input fellows?

Just my 2 cents

The Delta is the better one and you know I like Grizzly...I have the Delta it's better built and a bit ,more mass...
Grizzly 16 pounds Delta 22 pounds, you don't want it to lift up in the cut, I did need to rework the one I have to work in all 3 TS , I have one TS that has a 5/8" wide miter slot one TS that has a 3/4" wide miter slot and one TS that has the tee type miter slot,,,it's not a big deal to make two guides out of 1/4" thick plastic so it can fit the miter slot they both come with the stantard 3/4" wide steel miter guide.

But I know you and you can make your own, but you may not want to but it's easy one to make...

Thanks for the info Bj. Guess what, I found some plans in Shopnotes and am making one.
Heck of a lot cheaper, and for as much as I may use it, I'll be better off. I'll spend the birthday money on something else.

That sounds good,,, and because you worked for Ford you will not need any plans just some wire like I have to repair my Ford Pickup that's now 25 years old.
By the way "birthday money" that's not until 3-10-08 or are you just thinking ahead..

That's what I did. I made ShopNotes 3-n-1 sled for my TS. This included the tenoning jig. I was worried about making it but, turned out, it was easier than I thought.

Just my $0.02 worth.

Which Shopnotes was the 3in1 sled in? I searched on the site and din't find anything. I did find a tenon jig but it said it was in the Woodsmith magazine.

Mike is correct. Shopnotes and Woodsmith I believe are affliated with each other. If you dig deep enough into their sources they're identical.
