Review: I just received this item today, so the following is my preliminary impression. The unit arrived via UPS in a large carton. On opening, it was in good shape and was well cushioned with styrofoam blocks. Setup was simple, the outer blue paper filter and inner bag filter had to be removed and styrofoam shipping blocks removed from the interior. The removal of the blocks allowed me to inspect the interior and I was impressed with the workmanship. I was also impressed with the design of the inner filter which is of a multiple bag design, giving ample filter area. After replacing the filters, I installed it on top of a large storage cabinet in my shop. Hardware is supplied with the unit to suspend it from the ceiling, but since I have a drop ceiling in the shop, I decided not to use the hardware and stored it away. The unit comes with a remote (batteries included), which is a great feature. The remote switches the unit on and off, allows for the selection of three fan speeds and allows the user to select a timer function that turns the unit off after running for one of three selectable time periods. I ran it at all three speeds while cleaning my shop tonight and did notice a good bit of vibration inside the cabinet I set it on even when the fan was set to the lowest setting. This would be elimimated if it was suspended from the ceiling. It moves a lot of air, even when set on low and I noticed the air in the shop seemed a lot cleaner after running the unit for the hour or so I was in the shop. Overall, I am quite happy with it and would have given it a 10 rating had there been less vibration. I will update this report in a few months when I have had the opportunity to see how well it holds up in service.
