I am looking for a table saw and I found this one. It is a
Delta. Not sure how old it is . The man said it worked good. Do you guy's think I could find another fence to fit
it??? And is it worth 100.00??? I am a greenhorn and I did not want to buy a small table top saw. Limited cash at the moment.

Rob,
Welcome to the Forum. Your picture is not active. It may be that you need a few more posts to link to a picture.
From what you have said, though, it may be a Delta Contractor saw that you are pursuing. If it was`a Delta Unisaw (large cabinet saw), there would be no question, pick it up. For the price you've stated, a Contractor saw would be a real bargain, also.
In my neck of the woods, Delta Contractor saws sell for $400-800.
I use an older Rockwell/Delta Contractor saw and it does very well. I am currently looking at new replacement fences. I've narrowed it down to the Delta TS-30 or the Vega Pro 40/50. I'm hoping that the cash Gods are beneficial in the next few days so that I can get the Vega.
Good luck with your saw purchase.

Hi Rob

Just about any Delta is worth a 100.oo,,do your home work I'm almost sure you can find a fence for it...maybe better than the one that came with it..but they are not cheap,,again do your home work..

The fence is real important part of the table saw..I would say 75% part of it..any table saw will cut lumber but without a good fence is just so much iron..

Try attaching the picture again, or give us the model number.

Sorry, the guy that has it dont know the model number.. It is an hour away from me.It is not a cabinet saw. It almost looks like from the picture I have that the fence rides on a round rail. Grey/blue in color. I quess I will just go buy it and post a pic when I have my 10 posts in. I quess I can't go wrong. It isn't a table top small saw either. thanks.

There is a fence attached to the right side. May be the picture, but the saw blade seems to be way out of aligmrnt.
