I'm sure you old time guys know all about things like this, but for others like me I offer this discovery: I use a machinists vise on my drill press table from time to time. I was glancing around yesterday for a QUICK way to fasten it to the drill press table. I happened to have a selection of knobs with T-bolts etc. laying on a bench. Lightbulb!!! I put a couple washers on head end of bolt,dropped it through slot on machinist vise, screwed knob up from bottom. BAM!!! Vise in place, holes drilled, vise off and stored, job DONE! For what its worth.  | ||
