Default router station & down draft table

Hi all

Been pondering about making a router and down draft sanding station combined using the down draft station as an either in/out feed table top to assist the router whilst materials is fed through .

I have never used a down draft sanding station before are they any good , could do with all the info on them i can get IE: thing like dimensions hole sizes motor size extraction pipe size etc any info you might have . has any one combine both together before if so care to share any pics on them or just share your thoughts on this any info would be a great help , many thanks in advance.hc

I can't be of a lot of use to you, but i seen an article on the table a few week ago. The one i seen was about 14 to 16 in. x 34- RI 36 in. It was using the pegboard top in a box, that had a 4 in. black flex tubing going to the dust collector. I hope that gives you some ideas, Also, check the back issues of the American woodworker, or the Woodworkers Journal. I believe that the article was in one of those. It may be that you will have to run a search, otherwise.
