I am amazed at what a router & the Legacy can do. It literally takes the router to a whole new level. Sears came out with a small cable version called a Router Crafter which I still have & still works but the Legacy has it beat for ease of operation & size of work pieces. If you dont know what it is then checkout a woodworking show or www.legacywoodworking.com. The router is really a versatile tool.

I've had a 1000 series for a couple of years, if anyone is interested in the strengths and weakness of the machine. Bob
