| Registered User New Member | I need to make a baseball bat for my son-in-law. It is 34 inches long and my lathe only turns 32 inches between centers (after stretching it somewhat). Has anyone use a router to do this project? What does the jig look like? |

| Registered User Dedicated Member | Unless you have access to something like the Legacy Ornamental Mill, I don't know how you're going to do it on a router. Maybe check out places that teach lathe classes (like Rockler, adult ed locations, etc) and see if you could sign up for the class with the intent of making you bat. Sorry, no other ideas at the moment Paul |
