Default WoodStalk no more...

With Dow BioProducts ending prodution of WoodStalk panels, what will be the suitable replacement used on TRW in place of the WoodStalk product?

Yes, I work directly accross the street from Dow Bioproductions and I was aware of the shut down for quite sometime. Quite a large plant with very specific tools, I'm sure they'll have a tough time selling the joint . In addition, they have TONS of bails to clean up, quite a large mess.

Default Woodstalk demise

I regret the demise of this product. I have never seen it, nor seen it advertised in my part of the world so never had a chance to use it. BUT I like the idea of finding uses for stuff we ordinarily discard.

I will concur I regret the loss of a good product. I've only seen it once but was impressed with the stuff.

But I have to clear up the "stuff we ordinarily discard" comment. A lot of folk consider straws a waste product of the farming industry. It is actually a very important component of soil development, fertiliity and production of food for our kids. It does have a lot of valuable fibre that man can use, given profitable product development, though. It is just a good resource that needs management, not garbage.

Sorry for the soap box. Occupational hazard. ..Doug
