Default oak-park router table

i am going to begin to make the router table that is shown on oak-park .com and was wondering,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

for the base of the table it shows that 4 corner blocks are used for what i think is support. what is the best way to attach these? glue and nails or glue and screws???

reds_21, I used a nail gun and glue. It was much easier for me since I was working with 1/2" thick material. Also no screw head would show on the outside of the base. I just covered up the holes with wood putty.

Hey Reds, I made one of these tables but used 3/4" Birch Ply instead of 1/2" and eliminated the need for the corner blocks. I had to go through the plan and make allowances for the thicker material though. I've had no problem with the table ragidity at all. If you use the "C" clamps for your fences and jigs, you won't be sorry you chose this table system to use. It makes things so simple.
