What a great forum! Thanks to all for your help.

In 1988 I purchased a Craftsman Model 317.17460 for the purpose of finishing a large amount of shelving for our new house. At that time I removed the router bit and bushings/bearings, put them in a bag and forgot how to re-assemble. Can anyone out there assist with this.

Attached are two pictures; the first one left to fight are a (1) large bearing, (2) smaller bearing, (3) small washer with shoulders on each side and (4) the ogee router bit. The small lock-nut that is threaded and screws to the bottom of the shaft is not shown.

The second picture is obviously the router plate showing the small shaft (threaded) for the locking nut.

Thanks everyone for your input, very much appreciated

Hi Bill

The dust cap washer go's over the top of bearing to keep the dust out BUT you may want to put the OLD type router bit in your router bit tool box, THEY are called wood burners bits ,it's HSS steel and will burn the wood right off the bat, you can buy the new type Ogee router bit for about 16.oo bucks or less...than you wil be a happy camper
