| Registered User | I’m looking for a router and I found Maktec, similar to Makita 3612BR. It does not have a variable speed on it. I’d like to use large bits and I have an external speed control. Could I use it with the Maktec to have a variable speed? Thanks. |

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Hi Edilson YES, but you will not have the full power of the router in short RPM=HP, the more RPM the more HP it will produce. But it will work fine with small cuts when you use the large bits, you just can go as fast as you want.Bj ![]() Bj ![]()
