I ordered the set of dust attachments for my Bosch 1617 router kit and had a question or two about them. From the pictures, it appears that on the plunger base, you cannot use the edge dust attachment and have it aligned to be able to utilize the flat section on the baseplate to guide with a straightedge. I occasionally use my plunge base (for several small passes)with a straightedge to put a square edge on a board and this wouldn't be compatible if I am understanding it correctly.

Also - does it attach using the baseplate screws? If so, do I need to recenter the baseplate each time I install/reinstall?
