Default Where to find twin 3/16" slot cutter.

Checked all my suppliers and can't find a twin slot cutter for 3/16". Anyone know where to buy online?

Does it have to be a twin? I checked a couple of sites and your right most places must not carry them.........

I'm looking for the one that Plan 813 The Chest Lamp calls for. Maybe they made thier own?

OK now we can guess that they got the bit from www.oak-park.com and sure enough stk # 40-276 is a 3/16" cutter so maybe with a phone call they can hook you up with the set-up your looking for.

At least it is a start in the right direction. Sorry I don't have the plans or don't recall seeing the show with the Chest Lamp. Maybe someone here has built it and can give you more details on the bits they used?????

You know I was thinking of something different then what you were asking.... Sorry, the answer is they stacked two slot cutters. You can buy an arbor assembly then buy two of the "slot cutters only". You then have to use the bearing and shims to adjust the space between the cutters. Now you should find what your looking for at most places. (You might save money by getting a single 3/16" cutter assembly and adding a second cutter or if you already have a cutter assembly in a different size just order two cutters only but check the shaft dia. first.)

Yes Sir ,,pricecutter.com has them on page 19 #p13-2617andp13-2635 or p13-2645
O.K.There bits are pritty good to ,I use them all the time..
