Default Circular Saw and router guide "Off-set" plate

Good day

I would like to share with you some ideas that made my life easier.

The first is, the CS guide, nothing new here except that I used "Floor panels", already covered with Formica and if they give 15 years guaranty for walking on them...
They come in two lengths, 50" and 100" (I use the 50").

I use the other side of the guide as a router 10mm (3/8") bit guide.

The measuring and positioning method is a little bit different but I find it more accurate.

Regards
niki

If you have 2 or 3 CS's, you can use just a simple straight edge, all you have to make is an "Off-set" plate(s) for each of them.
It's better to cut the Off-set plate into 2 (each around 4" or more) to position one at each end of a long board.

You can make the same "Off-set" plate also for different router bits.

This is the third thread on this type of jig, time to make this one a "sticky". Nice job explaining with the photo's Niki, no room for doubt on how to build this very useful jig.

Hi Guys -
I'm getting the "Dreaded Red Xs" instead of all the pictures on this post... That's the first time it has ever happened to me at this site. Do any of you PC Gurus have any suggestions?

Hi Roefa and Harry

The RED X is coming from the web site ( photobucket.com) that he uploaded the pictures to ,,,they have close the web site and the pictures are no longer available for viewing.

That's why it's best to upload them to the RWS forum...
