| Forum Moderator Supreme Forum King | With a birthday one day and Father's day the next I ended up with some really nice gifts. I am so excited I just have to share them with y'all. I had a great birthday yesterday and the wife pampered me all day long in addition to giving me a couple of nice shop gifts. I received a Gifkins H-10 template and the DT bits to go with it. She also got me a 2nd Grr-Ripper to go with my 1st one, so now I have one for each hand My son came by for a nice visit and took me to a great BBQ lunch and I probably won't be hungry again until next Thursday or so. When he and I returned, he went to his car and brought an arm load of gifts in the house. Upon opening them I found a 23 gauge pin nailer and the detail biscuit joiner that I have been wanting but would not buy for reasons I won't mention here The best part of the 2 days combined was spending quality time with the 2 people I love most in the world.

| Retired Moderator Supreme Forum King | Excellent Bob... nice haul my friend. If I had to choose another template for the Gifkins I would get the H10 myself. I could use that pinner myself and I hope you enjoy the detail biscuit joiner! Had some pretty good barbecue myself there bud. We went down to the inlaws and my son used grandpas Smoker ( He had been teaching him to do all the outdoor cooking) and he made a batch of ribs that would make grandpa proud. Good stuff! Corey Besides that I got 2 more coats of poly on the 2 cabinets I bought this weekend for the kitchen ![]()

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | First a question Bob, do you really do woodwork on that piece of furniture that you probably call a bench? As for the pressies, I'm thinking of "accidentally" emailing you're post to my son as our Father's day isn't 'till September. Yours enviously, Harry

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Bob, I was thinking, as one does, that I should show you what a real bench looks like so, in-spite of it being a cold winter evening, I just went into my shed and took a couple of shots which show a thirty odd year old bench that has seen woodwork, metalwork, welding, painting, brick and tile cutting etc., now tell me Bob, are you really prepared to let you're show-piece end up looking like mine? By the way, I have removed all traces of what I'm hoping will be my entry in the competition.

| Forum Moderator Supreme Forum King | Thanks for the nice comments y'all. Harry, the only difference between my bench and yours is the amount of action they see. You actually use yours making projects and your pictures tell me I need to get busy Can't wait to see the projects that come about in the contest. So far you and Bj are sure contenders and I hope many more will come aboard also.

| Marine Engineer Forum King | Bob, Congrats on your haul, can't wait to hear your review on the Pin nailer, I was looking at that one on sale the other day myself. I may have to steer my 'little ones' that direction around birthday time.... of course the cards they drew for me are worth WAY more than that, mainly because at their age I know they are sincere when they call me the 'bestest dad ever'. 5 more years, and I know it will be just to get more of my money...... Harry, the reason his bench looks so good is because he drags all his tools outside to work, remember! Yours still looks pretty good to me, nothing 5 minutes with a sander couldn't fix.

| Registered User Forum Geek | Bob - Yes you must - those are great. Doug - Sad but true re: kids' motives :-) Harry - You just did wonders for my esteem. I see all these shops that look like you could host a ladies white glove tea party in them --- then I walk into mine - - - - - |
