| Registered User New Member | Give me some suggestions on removing bows from 3/8" X 5" planks that are 5' long. I really don't like using the Jointer. |

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Hi Shopguy May I ask what you are using them for ,,, anyway you do it they are going to get thiner if they are 3/8" now you may end up with 1/4" thick ones. Just a small note **** If you still want to do it take a look at this post by Harry, it would be one way to get the job done without using the jointer....it will take longer but you can get it done safe without using the scary jointer... http://www.routerforums.com/portable...le-inlays.html Bj ![]()
