Default Freud Routers

Hi Folks,

I once had a Freud FT2000E 3 1/4 hp plunge router and a Bosch 1604. Both were stolen from the garage. I still have many accessories and would like to replace the Freud first. A good used tool is fine but when I look around at Freud tools I see the FT2200 and a FT3000 which both appear to be 3 1/4 hp routers. Are these the same?? Where can I see the differences?

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill

You may want to check out Amazon I got my FT2000 for a 100.oo bucks fac.rebuilt type..and it was just as good as a new one...with all the extra items in a fac.box.

They will also show the new ones FT2200 and the FT3000 and some times you can get a great deal on them also, just read the add, some will say 1 or more used,,,also Tool King as so great deals on used (fac.rebuilt ones)

Bill,

The FT2200E is essentially the same router as the FT2000E except for the color and shape of the top cap so all accessories for the FT2000E should work. The FT3000VCE is new and unique with new features for above table adjustment. The template guide adapter and templates will work but the other accessories will not.
