| Registered User Forum King | Not sure if this is the right location for this post but I'm trying to identify an odd hinge which I no longer have an example of to be able to show a pic. Two of these hinges were fitted to the centre leaves of a circular oak dining table. The table top is divided into semi-circular halves which slide apart to allow the two hinged centre leaves to open out. The hinges were like nothing I'd seen before being mounted on the underside of each leaf and articulated which allowed each of the centre leaves to fold face-to-face when stored then, when folded out, to pull apart then push back and butt together. I had only one of these hinges (the other had broken) which I gave to an engineering company to try & duplicate. They lost the only original!!! Can anyone give me a source for these or give them a type name so I can try a web search? ![]()

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Geordie, I'm sure that sometime in my life I have seen what you are describing. A possible starting point might be the following link, which might be an awesome task as they have a HUGE catalogue. http://www.hafele.com/au/

| Registered User Forum King | HELP!!!! I've found the hinges (see above posts) but can only find them in the USA and the supplier does not ship overseas. Are any of our forum members willing to take delivery of these on my behalf for forward shipping to NZ? Naturally, I will meet all costs involved. The actual hinge purchase can be done over the net and I can then arrange pick-up by UPS/FedEx or similar. Anyone willing to help? I would need a mailing address (not a Box number) ![]()
